Monday nights at Claisebrook are quiz nights — a long-running tradition that turns the bar into a friendly battlefield of memory, recall and confident guesswork. Grab up to five mates, register a team name (the cheekier the better), and get ready for seven rounds of fast-paced, hilarious competition. Our resident quizmaster keeps the pace tight, the jokes terrible and the room rolling.
Categories rotate weekly to keep regulars on their toes. Past favourites have included Aussie rock decades, Perth local history, AFL team trivia, early-2000s pop culture, scientific firsts and a chaotic 'around the world' geography round. We always finish with a quickfire buzzer-style finale that has tied games scrambling to grab the mic first.
Entry is just $5 per person, and Monday-only food specials run all night with $10 burgers, $15 pizza-and-pint deals and half-price desserts. First prize is a $150 bar tab and a paper crown of dubious quality. We also hand out smaller prizes for things like best team name, gutsiest wrong answer and rookie-of-the-week. Walk-ins welcome but booking guarantees you a table.
