Introduction
Over twenty of WA's best independent breweries are taking over the cove for one massive afternoon of sampling, conversation and celebration. From Margaret River pale ales and Swan Valley sours to Fremantle stouts and Albany lagers, you'll get to taste the full range of what our state's small breweries are doing best. Brewers themselves will be behind the booths pouring, telling stories, swapping techniques and answering all the questions you've been wanting to ask.
Your $25 entry ticket includes a souvenir Claisebrook tasting glass, ten generous tasting tokens, a printed festival programme and access to every brewery booth — with extra tokens available to buy at the bar. Food trucks from across Perth will be set up around the cove from midday, serving wood-fired pizza, slow-smoked BBQ, vegan banh mi and old-school fish and chips. Soft-drink stations and free water are available all afternoon.
Live music from a rotating roster of local bands keeps the energy up until sunset, when we'll announce the People's Choice award based on tasting votes throughout the day. This is a genuine celebration of WA's craft scene — sharper than a beer fair, friendlier than a wine show, and the best way to spend a Saturday in May. Tickets always sell out; book ahead.
